Set an Equity Stop Loss

How to set an Equity Stop Loss

Last updated 8 months ago

NOTE: An Equity stop loss is a risk management tool used by traders and investors to limit their potential losses on a particular investment. This type of stop loss is based on a fixed dollar amount of the investment. If your account reaches that limit, all trades will be closed out to limit any further losses. You then have the opportunity to withdraw funds or restart copying a strategy.

Step 1 - Click the 3 dots to the right of the strategy you are copying.

Step 2 - Click on ‘Set Equity Stop Loss’

Step 3 - You can move the circle along the scale or add in the amount in the USD box on the right.

Step 4 - Click ‘OK’.
